The Guardian Wave touchless crossing controller from Campbell Company features a no-contact actuation critical for reducing the spread of germs and viruses between pedestrians. With the Guardian Wave, pedestrians request to cross simply by waving their hand near the physical push button. The Guardian Wave leads the way in touchless pedestrian safety equipment, and features an active Infra-Red (AIR) technology-integrated sensor for true touchless actuation. It’s pre-programmed and customized for true out-of-the-box, plug-and-play installation, while the solid billet 6061 T6 AL housing offers vandal resistance. The Guardian Wave is a fully MUTCD-, ADA-, and TAC-compliant APS station that also features a physical Piezo push button and tactile arrow, allowing pedestrians who are vision impaired to distinguish the direction of travel, while a unique locator tone also informs of touchless actuation technology. For sighted pedestrians, wave technology is identified by a large, contrasting Wave logo, an internationally recognizable symbol indicating motion activation.
TraffiCalm Intelligent Beacons
TraffiCalm Intelligent Beacon packages include a pedestal pole, LED beacon and housing, solar supply, and wireless enabled controller. The 12-inch solid-state beacon is available in red or amber, while housings and visors (available in aluminum or polycarbonate) come in green, yellow, or black. Applications include school zones, curve warning, wrong way mitigation, and icy road warning. Power source options include AC or up to 150W solar. Beacons from TraffiCalm are eco friendly, but also built to withstand unforgiving environmental conditions. Wireless setup is blazing fast, and synchronized radios between controllers and collaborators result in less planning and less connecting. Clean Profile LED illuminated street name signs are versatile, edge-lit signs that incorporate Southern Manufacturing’s hallmarks of easy maintenance and long-life LED strips into a thin, lightweight parallel-sided body. By incorporating advanced optics, the sign’s unique design (available as single or double sided) provides a significantly larger viewable area, enhancing visibility and optimizing the fit of the legends and logos, while also exceeding federally mandated visibility standards for traffic and highway safety. Clean Profile LED signs from Southern Manufacturing weigh up to 30 pounds less than competitors’ edge-lit models, providing safety while minimizing bearing load on mast arms or span wire. Housing is constructed of 0.125-inch thick 5052 aluminum in a standard finish of black powder coating, with other custom color options available. The Clean Profile sign has been extensively tested in extreme conditions, including passing a 150-mile per hour wind and water test, and the expected life of the LEDs is more than 13 years.
